Fourth of July Door Hanger

I made my mom a door wreath for her house...  It was really easy and really cute...

I took a flower wreath and wrapped it in saran wrap, it was one that I had on hand.  After wrapping it in saran wrap I wrapped it all in white yarn.  I had grabbed the red just in case I ran out

Then I used the left over felt I had from the PomPom Door Hanger and made some flowers to put on the wreath.  The flowers I made were ones like I used in the 4th of July hair bows.  Here are some pictures to help you make them.

Big Bubble Blowers

I had found a great idea for our family to do on the 4th.  I found a it at Tatertots and Jello

Here is my pictures on how to make the wands and how our bubbles turned out...  They are a lot harder to make than you think.

We had a great time and make sure you visit here for the mixture.  I had to play around with the mixture a little to get it right.  

 First you need two wooden dowels, some eyelet screws and 3 or 4 washers.  You also need some twine.

 Screw the eyelet screws into the end of the wooden dowels

 I used 40 inches of string for the top of the wand and 70 inches of string for the bottom.  make sure you put the washers on the bottom one so it has the weigh to stay down

Cookies and Cream Double Chocolate Cake Bars

Okay, so I really really really love Picky Palate  I don't know if you have every been there, if not you need to check out her site.  That is where I got this HEAVENLY idea...

I forgot to take pics of the before when I mixed it all together.  But I do have pics of the before the oven and of coarse the after.

She is wonderful at explaining the recipe and taking pics to help you along.
I did change the recipe a bit...

I added both regular and mint oreos.  One side was mint the other regular, since my husband likes the mint better and I like the regular.

Parmesan Chicken Bites

These are so yummy and easy to make

First I cut my chicken into bite size pieces

Then I smash up crackers into a gallon zip lock bag. You can use any type of cracker or even bread crumbs.  Add parmesan cheese, garlic salt and Italian seasoning in to the bag and mix it around.

Dip your chicken into butter, I used I can't believe it's not butter. And then dip it into the cracker mix and place it onto a cookie sheet.  Cook it at 450 degrees for 15 minutes.

Fourth Of July Felt Flower Clips

Me and my little sister got together this morning and made some fourth of July flower clips...

Using the extra felt that we had from our PomPom Balls Craft from June.  We cut out a circle, we used the top of a coffee cup for a pattern.

Then you cute in a circle shown above.  When you are done cute a little of the tip off.

Start rolling from the outside in, adding a little glue every so often.  Then glue the last part of the circle onto the bottom of the flower.

 Here is the final look on the flower

 We made Red, White and Blue for the 4th

 Glue them on a piece of felt and then cut off the excess felt
