My Memories Digital Software Giveaway!!!

I was asked to review a wonderful digital scrapbook software and then host a giveaway. The digital product is  My Memories and they have the cutest layouts, ideas, etc...

I do not scrapbook, it takes a lot of time, money and worst of all you have to come up with the idea (I'm bad at the ideas).  I LOVE THIS SOFTWARE!!!!

I was given the chance to try out the software for free (YAY ME!!!), I will be doing a give away, and best of all there is the code listed below to save $10 if you don't win it...

Check out what I created in just minutes, there is no way I could've done this so fast just doing it on my own

The really great thing about the My Memories Suite is that you download the software and use it to create scrapbook layouts, photo books, cards, videos, you name it! There are tons of options. And it's a great alternative to needing Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. The scrapbook software was easy to install and use.

It comes with pre-made templates, paper, embellishments, text options, all at the click of a button. And if you want more, there are links to more kits on their site accessed directly from the software itself! When I wanted to buy a set of really fun paper designs, I just clicked the link, purchased a VERY reasonably priced kit, and it installed right into the software!

Buy it:
You can buy the My Memories Suite program online for just $39.97, plus you can buy all the digital embellishments, papers, fonts and more thru My Memories.
Plus, if you use my unique Life as We know it code (STMMMS15171) at checkout, it will save you $10 off the software, and give you $10 to download any digital packages.
That's just $29.97 total out of pocket, plus $10 in free downloads. ($20 total savings)

Win it:
My Memories is giving one lucky Life as We know it reader the My Memories Suite completely FREE!

What helps you feel the Spirit???

The thing that gets the Spirit in my heart is Music.  I love Music, I love to Sing...

When I hear church music it touches my heart and it's easy to have the Spirit with me.  Today  I hope to touch your heart.  I am going to share the talent that God has blessed me with, I hope that it will help you feel the Spirit.

This is a wonderful song, with wonderful words, the song is Perfect Love.

Here is the Song, sang by me and the accompaniment is my great friend Nate Benencosa
-->
Perfect Love
Felicia Sorensen
Perfect Love, purest love Breaking through my anguish.
Precious love, endless love, His love never fails me.
He leads my heart when my eyes can't see, when my soul is lost he carries me.
He comforts me, in all my pain. And so I trust, in His perfect love.

Perfect love, surest love Grace beyond my failings.
Deepest love, truest love Strong enough to save me.
He leads my heart when my eyes can't see, when my soul is lost He carries me.
He comforts me, in all my pain. And so I trust, in His Perfect love.

It calms my fears and peace breathes through me, He moves me. And He knows my heart even when I don't He reaches me when I need Him most. He rescues me from all my shame. And lifts me up In His perfect love.

Meatloaf

I have not made meatloaf for a very long time, I think I was in jr. high...  I haven't eaten it for years, finally I made it after craving it forever...

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon of Deli mustard with horseradish
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 pound ground beef, moistened
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup ketchup
I ended up doubling it

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a small bowl, mix together the deli mustard, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
In large bowl, mix ground beef, onion, egg, and Worcestershire sauce. Add contents of small bowl and mix thoroughly. Add the bread crumbs and combine well.
Place mixture into a 1-pound loaf pan. Pour ketchup over top and place in oven.
Bake uncovered for 45 to 60 minutes.

Slow Cook Bajio Chicken

I found this yummy recipe at Six Sisters' Stuff

Ingredients:

5 chicken breasts
1/2 cup salsa
1 Tbsp cumin
1/2 cup brown sugar (more to taste)
1 4 oz. can diced green chilies
6 oz. Sprite (1/2 can)

Combine all ingredients in a crock pot. Cook on low for 5-6 hours. Remove chicken and shred. Return to crock pot and cook 1 more hour. Thicken the juices with a little cornstarch mixed in water.
Serve with flour tortillas, lettuce, cheese, black beans and any other taco fixings.
If you want it spicier rather than sweeter add a hotter salsa and more green chilies.

Mix the  Green Chili's in a bowl
I put the chicken in the bottom of the Crock Pot
I mixed in the brown sugar, salsa, cumin and sprite
Then I poured it on top of the chicken
After I let it slow cook for 3-4 hours I shredded the chicken with forks and put it back into the crock pot.
Then I added black bean (I drained the juice)
I let it sit overnight in the fridge and started it Sunday Morning before church
 I also added Rice :)

Guest Post

I will be guest posting over at A Law Student's Journey

Head on over to see my recipe for an Oatmeal and Peanut Butter Bar!!!

Here is a little tidbit to temp you to go over!!!

I would like to thank, A Law Student's Journey for this fabulous opportunity...

My name is Kim and I am happily married to my Prince Travis,  and the mother of a perfect little 4 1/2 year old princess named Madi Moo (this has been her nick name since birth and I know one day she will hate me for it).

I work full time for the government and have just gotten into crafting, blogging, etc...  I just got married on 1/1/11 (he shouldn't forget that date) but before then I really didn't cooked, bake or craft.  After I got married a miracle happened, I got interested in blogs and learned that I can do these things.  When people posted the tutorials they didn't seem THAT hard!!!  My love is baking, but little by little I am getting better at cooking too.   And to my amazement I started my own blog, Life as WE Know It.

With all that said, I am going to introduce you to a wonderful and easy post for baking...

They are the most scrumptious Oatmeal Bars you will ever have.  It's an Oatmeal and Peanut Butter Bar

DON'T FORGET TO HEAD ON OVER TO A Law Student's Journey and check out my post
